Background

Born in Towson, Maryland, Benjamin Poe has built a versatile career spanning gritty dramas and sharp-witted comedies, with stops in South Florida, New York, and Colorado before calling Hollywood home. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and works in both film and television.

He is equally comfortable holding a scene straight and playing it for the laugh — soldiers and officers on one side, broad comedic character work on the other. He has shared the screen with Robin Williams, Nick Offerman, Maurice Benard, and Tommy Flanagan. Beyond acting, he is a comedy writer with new work on the way.
